Seventeenth Annual Old Timers' Dinner

The 'kick-off' of the Swamp Cabbage Festival weekend will be the 17th Annual Old Timers' Dinner hosted by the LaBelle Heritage Museum. Ya'll come! ~ Thursday, February 23, 2012 to the LaBelle Civic Center. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. for Visiting. Cassie Williams' Cracker Cookin' & Caterin' will be serving her famous Swamp Cabbage Gumbo before dinner. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. with Pulled Pork, Grilled Chicken, Cole Slaw, Scalloped Potatoes, Mixed Greens, Roll, Butter, Dessert, Ice Tea or Coffee.

A few highlights will be the 50/50, door prizes, raffle items and the dessert auction. You don't have to be an "Old Timer" to join in the fun, visit with friends and meet some of LaBelle's real 'old timers'! Expect to see dignitaries from LaBelle, Hendry County and the Festival.

Tickets are $15.00 per person. If your organization or business would like to sponsor a "Table", it will seat 10 people. Checks Payable to: LaBelle Heritage Museum. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce or contact Mary Bartoshuk - 863-517-0307. All tickets sold by February 19th. To place an ad in the program booklet, contact Terri Lazar at 863-675-2392. Ad deadline is February 10th. Business card (1/4 pg) is $25; 1/2 pg $50 and full page $100.
